U.S. dollar closes higher on Taipei forex market

Taipei, June 17 (CNA) The U.S. dollar rose against the Taiwan dollar Tuesday, gaining NT$0.015 to close at NT$29.535.

Turnover totaled US$1.012 billion during the trading session.

The greenback opened at NT$29.510, and moved between NT$29.460 and NT$29.535 before the close.
